The 2022 48in48 Roadmap Is Here!

Hello 48in48 Partner,

November 13th was World Kindness Day - a day to be kind to someone else, yourself, and the world. I hope you found your happy place and were able to do something for someone else. If you were a 48in48 volunteer this year, you celebrated World Kindness Day with every 48in48 Event, and we continue to appreciate you. Kindness is at the core of what 48in48 believes. In a world where our sponsors, partners and volunteers can be anything, they are kind and we are forever grateful.

And just like that, Thanksgiving is next week. Last year, many of us spent Thanksgiving away from our family and friends. I hope this year that you will be with those most important to you. So, while everyone is prepping for Thanksgiving, 48in48 is prepped to share our 2022 event roadmap! Our first event will be virtual, and we will work towards in-person events as the year progresses. We want to hear from you, and when you are ready, we will be ready to host you in person. Our Volunteer Recruitment Manager is also building the planning committee, and I hope you will consider joining us. So whether you're interested in joining us as an individual volunteer or as part of a group through your corporate social responsibility initiatives, we'd love to have you. Last month, thanks to many of you, we held our final event of the year: Our hybrid Global Volunteerism Event. We had great energy and participation with over 275 volunteers spanning across 20 countries which came together to build nearly 4 dozen websites for nonprofits that will make an impact for them and the communities they serve. Whether you were a volunteer or couldn’t join us this time, please take a moment to review our event recap video here.

And if you were a volunteer, please be on the look-out for a participation badge via LinkedIn so that you can share your 48in48 involvement with your network. We create and distribute these for each event so collect them all and add them to your profile as a skilled volunteer. We can do what we do without you!
