December 2021 Newsletter

Hello 48in48 Partner,

As 2021 comes to a close, 48in48 has a lot to be thankful for and much to celebrate. From the addition of new team members to new sponsors, we are grateful to everyone for supporting us so we could have the opportunity to serve Nonprofit organizations for another year. We ended the year with 130 Nonprofits receiving new websites through three amazing events!

Here is a short list of my favorite things from 2021:
  • Favorite milestone -  Building our 1,000th website
  • Favorite event - Women’s Event (girl power)
  • Favorite shirt - It’s a tie! - Women’s Event and Global Event
  • Favorite breakouts - Social Justice event
  • Favorite moment - Receiving the 2021 Ann Cramer Award

As we wrap up the year, remember that 48in48 kicks off 2022 with our SUPER SERVICE event February 4th-6th. Please sign up and volunteer your Nonprofit is waiting! Our pipeline for Nonprofits for this event is almost full; we have never had so many Nonprofits ready so early. This means we need your support to serve them. If you have any questions, watch this video. Please share the link to the video with your network.

Every year, I am fortunate to add new friends through my work with 48in48. I hope you have found the same for yourself at 48in48 or wherever you choose to volunteer. Best wishes to you and your families for a happy and safe holiday season. I look forward to seeing you online or in person in 2022!

Cheers,
Sima Parekh
Executive Director
