Wrapping up July
As we make our way through our first COVID summer, 48in48 continues to make huge strides and progress. So, it’s time to share our exciting plans for the rest of 2020. We need you now more than ever!
48in48 is proud to announce the next virtual build event sponsored by State Farm in September. All State Farm employees will be eligible to participate no matter their location. State Farm's incredible passion for giving back to the community has led them to support our organization for the past four years; we could not continue our mission and support our nonprofits without them. Their employees/volunteers will be focusing on nonprofits from the four State Farm hub cities - Atlanta, GA; Bloomington, IL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ.
If you know of a nonprofit that could use our services in any of these cities, please nominate them and we will take care of the rest. State Farm volunteers can sign up for the event here. READY TO VOLUNTEER.
On the weekend of October 2nd, 48in48 will host our First Global Virtual Event (that's a mouthful)! This event is open to volunteers and nonprofits from all over the world. We would like to build 100 sites during this event, and we need you to make it happen. Please register to volunteer and/or please refer a nonprofit! All nonprofits must complete the coursework by September 10th to be included in the event.
We need your help to make this event a success. Volunteer with a team, or we’ll be happy to assign you to a team.
I would also like to call your attention to a new organization called the Endangered Nonprofit Coalition. This organization has services to help nonprofits that are struggling.
